Top heat insulation with double glazing
In new buildings, an average energy consumption of 70 kWh/m²a is now the standard. It is up to the planner to decide how to reach this energy consumption target. The attractive product iplus 1.0 is the solution for optimizing the window's energy performance. In comparison with iplus neutral E, the Ug-value has been improved by up to 10 percent. The heat transfer coefficient of 1.0 W/m²K according to EN reaches the physical limit of what can be achieved with a double glazing structure. At the same time, the use of high solar energy gains remains unrestricted. iplus 1.0 is also suitable for improving the energy performance of windows that are still fully functional but are fitted with old, uncoated insulation glass.
