Standard reference work for architects and glass processors is now available in German language
"Design with Glass" is the name of the successful handbook for architects and processors from AGC Interpane that has now been published in its 10th edition in German language. It offers up-to-date, detailed information on handling the building material glass. In addition to the technical details of all AGC Interpane products, the current norms, technical knowledge about glass and building structures as well as the current legislation, guidelines and many more topics are covered. The popular planning reference has been regarded as a standard work by planners and glass processors for many years.
The handbook has been completely reworked with the emphasis on user-friendliness. For example, all the relevant technical information about glass, building structures and applications has been put together in one clearly arranged chapter. The glazing guidelines have also been revised and are essentially the same as those originally published by the Federal Flat Glass Association (Bundesverband Flachglas). Because of the changes in requirements and the increased possibilities, the chapter "Safety Glass" has been completely rewritten, as has the product chapter, which includes more interior products, mirrors and the Stratobel range as well as descriptions of the manufacture of decorative glass and thin glass. The 10th edition is, as previously, also a specialist handbook as particularly relevant themes such as energy-saving potential, the Energy-Saving Act (EnEV), building regulations and, for example, DIN 18008 are described in detail and explained.
