With a light reflectance of over 50% ipachrome design is as highly reflective as a conventional silver mirror, but substantially more robust. ipachrome design can be thermally toughened and processed into laminated safety glass and can be combined with iplus thermal insulation or with ipasol solar control and, for example, further processed into insulation glass.
Whether for interior or exterior applications, as façade cladding or in the construction of shop interiors or trade fair stands, for logos, texts, or free-standing ornaments, for fine lines or covering whole surfaces, ipachrome design, through its suitability for some additional functional coatings, gives your unique design ideas the freedom they need. Simple motifs as well as complex photorealistic designs can be masked onto glass surfaces. This is followed by chrome coating and then de-masking. The end result is a filigree mirrored pane that is rich in detail and deep in contrast. The glazing thus becomes an optically attractive eye catching design component – without any compromises in terms of function.
