Solar control - Stopsol

Glazing with pyrolitic coating for improved solar control

Glass processors require glazing that is flexible to work with and can be used in many ways. Stopsol has a hard coating, a metal oxide layer applied in a pyrolitic process that allows it to be curved or tempered. This makes Stopsol usable either as single panes, as insulating glass, as laminated glass, or as tempered or enamelled glass.

Of particular interest in heavily built-up inner-city areas is that the strongly reflective surface provides an improved degree of privacy as well as good solar control.

Architects can also make use of the numerous possible combinations of solar factor, transparency and colour: Stopsol is available on basic glass in clear, green, grey and bronze, as well as in three coatings: Classic, Supersilver and Silverlight.

  • Reflective glazing for enhanced privacy and comfort
  • Numerous combinations of solar control and transparency factors possible
  • Hard coating makes the glass excellently suited to further processing
