Solar control - Sunergy

Glazing with a pyrolytic coating for increased solar control and thermal insulation with low light reflection

Modern architecture sets high aesthetic standards. Architects and planners are constantly challenged to combine appearance and functionality. With Sunergy, AGC Interpane offers a low-reflection solar control glass that can be used in many ways: in single panes, as insulating glass or laminated glass, as tempered or enamelled glass. Thanks to the hard pyrolytic coating, Sunergy is easy to process and is suitable for complex buildings where curved, tempered, simple or screen-printed glass is required.

The wide colour range, from clear to green and azure through to dark blue and grey, means architects and planners have both creative freedom and maximum performance. With a light transmission Tv of between 26 and 53 percent and a total energy transmittance (solar factor) of between 22 and 37 percent, Sunergy provides a high level of comfort because of its strong solar control. The thermal transmittance (Ug) of 1.0 W/(m²K) also provides optimal protection against loss of heating-system energy.

Sunergy: high transparency, low reflection and neutral appearance.

  • Comfort in the building: high thermal insulation and solar control
  • Hard-coated glass (continuous pyrolitic coating) for easy processing
  • Complete creative freedom: one glass for many applications
