Thermal insulation

The iplus product family

The trend towards energy-efficient building continues. Glazing with Ug-values below 1.0 W/(m²K) – e.g. triple glazing – enjoys great popularity and a constantly rising demand. The European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) requires an integrated approach in the assessment of the energy performance of buildings. In this concept, great importance is attached not only to the issues of heat losses and solar energy gains, but also to the light transmittance of the glass. For thermal insulation glass, this means a demand for low Ug-values as well as high g and Tv-values.

With the iplus product family, INTERPANE offers a wide product range, which allows virtually any architectural and functional building requirement to be fulfilled:

iplus 1.1, the synonym for colour-neutral insulation glass with Ug = 1.1 W/(m²K)

iplus 1.1T, the insulating glass that is suitable for thermal toughening

iplus 1.0 – glass with an optimized energy performance with Ug-values down to 1.0 W/(m²K) as double glazing

iplus 1.0T is the toughenable variant

iplus 3 and iplus 3C – super insulation glass types for ultra-low-energy houses and passive houses

iplus 3LS triple insulating glass with an optimal energy balance, also available as a basic glass with identical values that can be thermally toughened (LST).
